This occurs while Kirchnerism and the governor himself are promoting a march against Milei in "defense of public health."

In the context of the call for the March in Defense of Public Health, driven by the Kirchnerist opposition, the Garrahan Hospital publicly displayed on its internal screens the massive debt of the Government of Axel Kicillof with the institution.

According to the images that have gone viral in recent hours, the reference pediatric center disseminated the following message: “$9,151,216,131 is the debt of the province of Buenos Aires (IOMA) with the Garrahan Hospital.”

The figure corresponds to unpaid commitments related to the provincial health insurance and once again highlights the disastrous management of Governor Axel Kicillof in health matters.

The emergence of this data coincides with the mobilization driven by union organizations and political sectors opposing the Government of Javier Milei, who march under the slogan “Health cannot wait.”

In this context, the situation of IOMA, the provincial health insurance, is once again under scrutiny due to delays in payments to providers, in this case with a debt that exceeds 9.151 billion pesos with Garrahan.

The Ministry of Health Signs

To this scenario is added what happened in the Ministry of Health of the Nation, where in recent hours signs were displayed with figures that expand the dimension of the financial problem related to Kicillof's administration.

One of them states: “1,812,000,000,000 is the national government's investment in the health of the people of Buenos Aires,” while another indicates: “Kicillof's debt with Health: 644 billion pesos.”

According to official data, the province of Buenos Aires maintains a debt of 644.7 billion pesos with the SAMIC hospitals, which operate under shared management with the national government.

In turn, the provincial health insurance accumulates an additional liability of 14.7 billion pesos with these same centers and national hospitals for services provided to its members.

Meanwhile, the total investment in health made by the Milei Government, aimed at the people of Buenos Aires, reaches 1,812,000,000,000 pesos. This amount includes programs for care in national hospitals and SAMIC, provision of high-cost and oncological medications, vaccination campaigns, prosthetics financed by Garrahan, high-complexity treatments, disability policies, and programs like Remediar and Sumar+.

Thus, while Kirchnerism promotes a mobilization with criticisms of the national government, the data displayed both at Garrahan and in the Ministry of Health reveal the volume of debt accumulated by Kicillof with key institutions in the health system.
