The candidate from Generación Marcos Juárez received 46% of the votes

With 46% of the votes, the candidate from Generación Marcos Juárez, Germán Font, won the elections and will be the next mayor of Marcos Juárez, located about 266 kilometers southeast of Córdoba.

According to reports, a 62.5% of the electorate participated, almost ten percentage points less than in the previous election.

Shortly after 8 PM on Sunday, the first official data was published confirming that Font's group obtained 46%.

Next was Pedro Dellarosa (Marcos Juárez Puede), with 19.99% of the votes. In third place was Gerardo Pasquali (Marcos Juárez Despierta), with 17.3% of the ballots.

The other candidates were: Jorge Antonio Bolcatto (Encuentro Vecinal Córdoba, 0.4%), Verónica Crescente (Unión Vecinal, 11.5%), Ana Claudia Elzaurdia (Uno-Una Nueva Oportunidad, 3.06%) and Juan Carlos Escobar (Partido Libertario, 1.7%).

Marcos Juárez will have a Peronist mayor for the first time since 1973.

The governor of Córdoba, Martín Llaryora, congratulated Font, recognizing him as the winner and inviting him to "work on the ideas and projects he proposed during the campaign." Both will meet this Monday at 11 AM at the provincial government house.

"My administration will be for the entire city of Marcos Juárez," stated the winner.

"There is a very broad space here, we have formed an alliance where we bring together different people from various places. Institutions, associations, clubs, community leaders. I am grateful to all those people," he added.
