Google unveiled its new Googlebooks: what are the 5 models and how much do they cost

Google presented the first five models of Googlebook, manufactured in collaboration with Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, and Lenovo. The devices start at US$ 899 and go up to US$ 1,299.

The new line will be available for pre-order from the announcement and will hit stores on October 4. All include 12 months of Google AI Pro, 5 TB of storage, and up to 10 years of updates.

What models of Googlebook were presented

The first batch consists of five notebooks with different screen configurations, processors, memory, and storage.

• Acer Googlebook 14: starting at US$ 899, with a 14-inch touchscreen OLED display, 16 GB of RAM, and Intel Core Ultra 5 or 7 processors. It is the only 2-in-1 convertible model and offers up to 16 hours of battery life.

• Asus Googlebook 14: starting at US$ 1,299, with a 14-inch touchscreen OLED display, up to 32 GB of RAM, and Intel Core Ultra 5 or 7 processors. It is the lightest, weighing 1 kg.

• Dell XPS Googlebook: starting at US$ 999, with Snapdragon X Elite processor, 13.4-inch touchscreen, up to 32 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage.

• HP Googlebook 14: starting at US$ 1,299, with Snapdragon X Elite, 14-inch touchscreen OLED display, and up to 1 TB of storage. It includes facial recognition and a fingerprint reader.

• Lenovo Googlebook 15: starting at US$ 1,299, with a 15.3-inch touchscreen OLED display, 16 GB of RAM, and up to 512 GB of storage. It also includes HDMI.

What the new line of laptops includes

In addition to the hardware, each laptop includes 12 months of Google AI Pro with 5 TB of cloud storage.

It also offers three-month trials of YouTube Premium, Adobe Photoshop, and CapCut. Google also promises up to 10 years of updates for the new devices.
