The president Javier Milei met in Buenos Aires with Brazilian senator and presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro, one of the key figures ahead of the elections in Brazil.
The meeting, which took place before an international event, was accompanied by an explicit message of support from the Argentine leader.
“The blue tide is coming for Brazil with Flavio Bolsonaro. VLLC,” Milei posted on his social media to confirm the meeting with the Carioca leader, son of former president and political prisoner Jair Bolsonaro.

The phrase reinforces the Argentine government's strategy to promote an expansion of right-wing political spaces in the region.
The image of the meeting did not go unnoticed in the South American political scene, where there is already a strong dispute with the current Brazilian dictator, Lula da Silva. In this context, Milei's gesture represents a direct endorsement to someone who seeks to contest power at the polls on October 4.
The meeting took place in the lead-up to the conference organized by the Israel Allies Foundation, which will be held in the City of Buenos Aires.
Both Milei and Bolsonaro will participate in the Summit of the Parliamentary Caucuses of Israel Allies, a space aimed at “expanding and strengthening” agreements between that country and various nations in the region, referred to as “Isaac agreements.”

The event will take place at the Alvear Hotel and will feature the presence of international political leaders. The day is expected to conclude with a joint press conference by the summoned heads of state, scheduled for 8:30 PM.
Behind this new diplomatic move, the Argentine government seeks to consolidate strategic alliances and advance in a reconfiguration of the regional political map. Milei has termed this process as a “blue wave,” referring to the rise of right-wing leaders and governments.
In that same vein, President recently celebrated the electoral victory in Colombia of Abelardo de la Espriella. “The lion and the tiger roar in Latin America,” he wrote on his social media after the results were announced.
Additionally, the president is closely monitoring the evolution of the results in Peru, where the second electoral round is taking place. In the current scenario, the right-wing Keiko Fujimori of Fuerza Popular is positioned with an advantage over Roberto Sánchez of Juntos por el Perú.
