Kia launched the Kia Tasman in Argentina, the first mid-size pickup in the history of the Korean brand. The truck is already on sale in the local market, after a month of pre-sale.
It is a mid-size pickup with a ladder chassis and double cab body. The Tasman is imported from South Korea and offers three different configurations.

Engines and mechanics of the Tasman
The Kia Tasman offers two engine options. A 2.2 turbo diesel engine with 202 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque.
The other option is a 2.5 turbo gasoline engine, delivering 281 hp and 421 Nm of torque. Both versions are combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission with a torque converter.
In terms of traction, the Tasman features a disconnectable 4x4 system. It includes a low-range gearbox and rear differential lock.

Versions and equipment of the Tasman
The Kia Tasman is sold in Argentina in three configurations. The EX 2.2 turbo diesel, the EX 2.5 turbo gasoline, and the X-Pro 2.5 turbo gasoline are available.
The X-Pro version stands out for its off-road oriented equipment. This variant incorporates the most striking elements of the range.
