The Italian club launched its new away jersey for the 2026/27 season. The presentation was recorded in Buenos Aires and reinforces the historic bond with the country and with El Pelusa
As has been the case in recent years, Napoli once again paid tribute to Argentina. The Italian club unveiled its new alternative jersey for the 2026/27 season this Thursday, a design that combines the colors of the National Team and an audiovisual campaign filmed in various iconic locations in Buenos Aires, with Diego Armando Maradona as the central figure of the message.
Under the name "Albiceleste Napolitana", the institution revealed a white base jersey with fine sky blue lines, a clear nod to the Argentine National Team and the player who forever marked the club's history.
The presentation took place in locations such as La Boca, Caminito, Puerto Madero, the Casa Rosada, and Plaza de Mayo. Additionally, the video includes a mural of Maradona, reinforcing the bond between the Argentine idol and the institution in southern Italy.
"Here we live for football", Napoli posted on its social media alongside the Argentine flag. In its official statement, the club explained that the campaign aims to honor the Neapolitan community that emigrated to the country and kept its roots alive through generations. "It was a journey through streets and colors that tell a relationship nourished by stories, families, and communities that united Naples and Argentina, a bond that Diego Armando Maradona further strengthened", the institution emphasized.
The design also incorporates references to Neapolitan identity. On the front, there are illustrations of the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, while on the back of the neck, the inscription "Partenopei" appears, a historical term used to identify the city's inhabitants.

Designed for the season in which Napoli will return to compete in the Champions League, the jersey includes elastic mesh panels on the back and under the sleeves to improve ventilation and facilitate player mobility.
In the year of its centenary, the Italian club chose to strengthen a bond that transcends football. Since Maradona's arrival in 1984, the relationship between Napoli and Argentina has become one of the strongest in world football, a story that now adds a new chapter with a jersey full of symbolism.
