Neighbors fainted and captured a dangerous motorjet after an attempted robbery in La Matanza

After the citizen's arrest, police officers arrived at the scene and proceeded to transfer the suspect in custody to a local hospital.

An attempted armed robbery that occurred in the town of San Justo, in the district of La Matanza, ended with the arrest of one of the criminals thanks to the residents of the area, who had to intervene directly in the face of the abandonment of the Axel Kicillof government.

The incident occurred on Izaguirre Street in 2000, where two assailants on board a motorcycle tried to attack another motorcyclist using a firearm.

The situation became public after a video went viral on social networks showing the moment when local residents act to prevent theft and reduce one of the suspects.

The images show how the neighbors manage to intercept the thief after the attempted robbery, while his accomplice manages to escape and remains at large

One of the most striking aspects of the episode was the maneuver used to immobilize the criminal. As can be seen in the audiovisual record, a neighbor applied a technique known as “lion killer”, which left the suspect unconscious at the

scene.

At the same time, another person intervened to remove the gun while it was reduced to the ground, thus preventing him from using it again.

The offender remains hospitalized, in recovery and under police custody, waiting for him to be able to give an investigative statement. The medical staff reportedly determined that he is not yet able to testify, at which point the charges will be read to him and he will be formally

charged.

The case was labeled “robbery aggravated by the use of firearms” and was left in the hands of prosecutor Evangelina Sánchez, head of UFI No. 11 of the Judicial Department of La Matanza. As for the victim of the attempted robbery, it was reported that she was unharmed thanks to the quick intervention of the neighbors, who managed to thwart the attack before it escalated.
