Ofelia Fernández continues to receive funding from provincial taxpayers through the Federal Investment Council (CFI), the same agency that has come under scrutiny for financing work from the consulting firm linked to Luciana Geuna and expenses from the recent trip of Axel Kicillof to Spain. According to documentation released by journalist Tomás Díaz Cueto, the former city legislator has a contract worth over $17.3 million to perform "creative and audiovisual" tasks.
The agreement reportedly began on April 15 and would extend until October 2026, for a total amount of $17,336,000. The displayed documentation indicates that payment is made in six installments and that Fernández has received around $2,896,000 monthly over the past few months.
The contract again puts the spotlight on the controversial CFI, an agency funded by multiple provincial governors with particular influence from La Cámpora. According to its own institutional information, the strategic and political orientation of the Council is defined by the governors, while its General Secretariat, currently headed by Ignacio Lamothe, is responsible for "technical and administrative" management.

According to the released documentation, Fernández was hired to develop tasks related to "creative direction" and advising in areas of CFI's competence.
Among the vaguely described objectives are the formulation of a comprehensive proposal for a strategic audiovisual project, the creative direction of the project, the development of narratives “with impact capacity”, the articulation of pieces and formats, and the optimization of its reach.
