In the final stretch of the first semester, Boca is already thinking about the next transfer market and one of the names that has resurfaced is Nahitan Nández. However, when it seemed that the Uruguayan's return could gain momentum for the second half of the year, those close to the player cooled expectations and hinted that today the negotiation is far from being finalized.
Pablo Bentancur, the midfielder's representative, spoke about the club's interest from La Ribera and made it clear that, for now, there have been no concrete advances with the management led by Juan Román Riquelme. "The situation with Boca is more about the team needing to move for him. Right now, I see it as somewhat difficult", he stated in an interview with Carve Deportiva. Despite this, the agent also emphasized the strong emotional bond that Nández maintains with Xeneize since his departure in 2019. "Still, he has a love for Boca. He is very passionate", he asserted.
The Uruguayan player is experiencing a great present at Al-Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia, where he has become one of the team's standout figures. According to Bentancur, the Arab club has already begun efforts to extend his contract and is looking to retain him amid interest from other markets. "Just yesterday we received a very good offer to renew, the coach is very happy. He is fighting to be the best player on the team and in the league", he revealed.
