Santiago Maratea generated a stir on social media after posting a video in which he expressed his support for the government of Javier Milei and referred to the so-called "cultural battle" often mentioned by the government. His statements quickly went viral and sparked strong reactions from both supporters and detractors.
Over several minutes, the influencer shared a reflection on the current political landscape and defended some of the ideas promoted by libertarian figures. In that context, he invoked a phrase attributed to the streamer Daniel Parisini, better known as "El Gordo Dan," one of the figures closest to the digital universe surrounding the president.
The message from Santi Maratea
During the video, Maratea stated that those who support the government should change the way they respond to their critics.
"I have a proposal for the people who back this government," he began.
He then suggested that Argentina is going through a key moment in an ideological and cultural dispute. In this context, he recalled a statement he made years ago during a television interview, when he claimed that "the left is the new right."
As he explained, he believes that some political sectors that present themselves as representatives of popular causes are made up of people who, in his view, belong to privileged spaces.
