Sydney Sweeney broke her silence and revealed the truth about the alleged fights among the cast members of Euphoria

For years, Euphoria has not only generated conversation due to its impactful stories and characters but also because of the rumors surrounding its cast. The long delays between seasons, the tight schedules of its stars, and the constant speculation on social media fueled versions about supposed internal conflicts among the actors.

Now, Sydney Sweeney decided to address the issue directly. The 28-year-old actress, who plays Cassie Howard in HBO's hit production, broke the silence and denied that there are conflicts among the cast members.

She did so during an interview with Vanity Fair, where she also responded to rumors about a supposed bad relationship with Zendaya.

What Sydney Sweeney said about the supposed fights in Euphoria

The actress stated that much of the speculation that circulated over the past few years was unfounded.

"Well, I mean, we all grew up together on this show, so honestly, it's crazy to see how social media and the press manipulate things", she claimed.

With those words, Sweeney aimed to dispel comments pointing to a supposed rift within the cast of one of HBO's most successful series.

One of the topics that caught fans' attention was the alleged distance between Sydney Sweeney and Zendaya. Speculation grew after the release of the latest season, where the characters Cassie and Rue hardly shared any scenes.

Additionally, several followers pointed out that the actress posted numerous behind-the-scenes photographs with co-stars like Jacob Elordi and Alexa Demie, but none with Zendaya. This situation fueled theories about a possible conflict between the two stars.

However, Sweeney's statements aim to completely refute that version and show that the absence of shared images or scenes does not necessarily reflect the relationship that exists between the actors off-camera.

Another of the most repeated rumors in recent years indicated that the complicated schedules of the protagonists had caused the delay in the production of the new season.

Sweeney also addressed this issue and denied that the cast's work commitments were responsible for the delay.

"I was the first choice for HBO. So, the moment they tell me: 'Today is the first day of filming', legally I am not allowed to do anything else. Therefore, my schedule does not affect the show", she explained.

The actress added that she found it striking to observe the theories circulating on the internet.

"It was fun to see how everyone was inventing stories about it. We were all in first position, so it wasn't like our schedules were delaying it", she stated.
