Tesla accelerates its arrival in Argentina and could take one of its most important steps since the beginning of its operations in the country in October. The automaker founded by Elon Musk would open its first store in Buenos Aires, which would be located on Avenida del Libertador, in the Núñez neighborhood.
The information was revealed by Hugo Belcastro, an entrepreneur in the automotive sector and secretary of the Chamber of Importers and Official Distributors of Automobiles in Argentina (CIDOA), who stated that the opening would take place next month.

“It’s arriving now: next month, Tesla opens in Argentina,” Belcastro affirmed during an interview on the program El Pelado de la Casa, hosted by Esteban Trebucq.
So far, Tesla has not made an official announcement about the opening nor publicly communicated the inauguration date of the establishment. However, the company has been making various moves in recent months to prepare for its commercial entry into the Argentine market.
One of the most important steps was the establishment of Tesla Argentina S.R.L., a company created in March of this year with the purpose of marketing and selling vehicles. The firm has also begun to hire personnel to develop its local structure.

The arrival of Musk's company has also made it onto the national government's agenda. At the beginning of September, President Javier Milei received Tesla executives at the Casa Rosada to discuss the company's plans in the country.
The relationship between Milei and Musk has strengthened since Javier took office as President. They have held various meetings and publicly expressed agreements on issues such as economic freedom, technological development, and the reduction of regulations.

If the opening announced by Belcastro materializes, Tesla would thus advance towards a direct commercial presence in the Argentine market. Until early September, the company still did not have an official sales channel for vehicles, a price list, or a specific configurator for Argentina.
The arrival of the American company occurs, moreover, amid a growing supply of electrified vehicles in the local market and would mark a new step in the regional expansion of one of the most important technology automakers in the world.
