The new Renault Kwidwas spotted testing in Brazil, where the model is manufactured. The spy images anticipate design changes, new versions, and improvements in equipment for the small hatchback from the French brand.
The launch in Brazil is expected between August and September. In Argentina, where the Kwid is one of the cheapest cars on the market, this update is also expected, although the brand has not yet confirmed a date.

The photographs published by the Brazilian media Autos Segredos show the Renault Kwid 2027 before its official presentation. According to the site, the hatchback will feature a design already anticipated by the version sold in India.
The main difference detected between both variants is the incorporation of a “shark fin” antenna in the model intended for Brazil. The photographed unit corresponds to the Outsider version, in Lunar Gray, a shade already present in other models of the brand, such as the Oroch.

Among the exterior updates, the Kwid 2027 would present modifications to the front bumper. The camouflage of the test unit still does not allow confirming other details in that area, such as the possible incorporation of the new diamond logo of the brand.

The update would also include a reorganization of the version offerings. Renault would align the names of the Kwid with those of the rest of its range, incorporating the Evolution, Techno, and Outsider versions in place of the current nomenclatures.

In terms of mechanics, no news is expected. The Kwid would retain its well-known 1.0 SCe three-cylinder gasoline engine, which delivers 66 CV in Argentina, combined with a five-speed manual transmission.
