With the FIFA friendly matches approaching, the Argentine National Team made a move in its call-up involving three players from the local scene.
The Argentine Football Association (AFA) announced through its social media that Tomás Palacios, Leonel Flores, and Tobías Andrada have been released from the concentration, although for different reasons and with particular situations. The defender and the forward will have a temporary return to their respective teams, while the River midfielder has been definitively removed from the squad.
On one hand, Palacios will return to Estudiantes this Tuesday, once the afternoon training is finished, to be available for Pincha ahead of the quarterfinal match of the Copa Argentina against Platense, scheduled for Thursday. Once that commitment is over, the player will rejoin the Albiceleste call-up.
A similar situation will be faced by Flores, although his departure will be later. The Boca forward will remain with the squad until the friendly against Bolivia, which will take place on Wednesday, and then return to Xeneize to face Unión on Friday. After that match, he will again be available to Lionel Scaloni.
