With two new faces and Paredes affected, Arruabarrena defined the players called up to face Central Córdoba

With the rematch against São Paulo getting closer, Boca must first face a commitment in the Clausura Tournament. The schedule leaves no room, and Rodolfo Arruabarrena has already made a decision considering both fronts: to manage efforts against Central Córdoba and preserve his most important players for the return match of the Copa Sudamericana quarter-finals.

The main focus is on Leandro Paredes. The midfielder suffered a strong kick during Tuesday's match against the Brazilian team and continues with a very swollen instep. Despite this situation, he is part of the list of 24 called up, although the coaching staff's intention is that he is not overexerted and can arrive in good condition for Tuesday, when the Xeneize will seek to make the most of the 1-0 achieved in the first leg.

The roster was also affected by several absences. Mendieta, 20 years old, plays as a central midfielder, although he can also play on the right wing. His presence is linked to the absences of Milton Delgado and Camilo Rey Domenech, while he has accumulated experience in the Reserve since his official debut at the beginning of 2025.

On the other hand, Bacidalupe is 19 years old and plays as a center forward. The striker arrives after a standout performance in his last appearance, when he scored a brace in the 2-0 victory against Platense as a visitor.
