The interactions between the Argentine pilot and the 19-year-old girl sparked speculation on social media
When the reporter wanted to know if she would approve of a potential relationship between Franco and Sofía, Maru seemed enthusiastic. “It would be lovely. I don’t know Franco that well, but I do know his family, and I know they are wonderful. It’s approved,” she replied with laughter.
Amid the rumors, Sofía decided to react publicly and chose to do so with humor. Through her TikTok account, she posted a video in which she appears made up and blowing a kiss to the camera, accompanied by an audio that jokes about the unexpected situations a person goes through.
“I don’t know who is writing the story of my life, but please, put a period, a comma, something, I don’t know, have a tea. Smoke one. Rest your wrist. Leave me alone for a second,” can be heard in the content she chose.
However, it was the message she added about the images that clarified how she took the rumors: “I don’t understand anything, but I’m happy that I’m being shipped with Franco Colapinto.”
After his separation from Maia Reficco, the romantic life of Franco Colapinto has once again sparked interest among his followers. In recent days, a series of interactions on social media led to the name of Sofía Solá, one of Maru Botana's daughters, circulating as a possible new conquest of the Argentine driver.
The young people have known each other for years because their families maintain a bond and both grew up in Pilar. Currently, they are both settled in Europe, and their recent virtual exchanges were enough to spark speculation about a supposed romantic approach.
The rumor reached Puro Show (eltrece), where they sought the words of Maru Botana. The chef confirmed that she knows both the driver and his family and was surprised when asked what she would think if one day he became her son-in-law.
“I care a lot about Franco and his family. I actually went to see him in Barcelona,” she said. She also revealed a curiosity about the origin of their connection: “I know him because he is a big fan of one of my cakes, and his mom usually goes to buy it.”
