The journalist defended her way of communicating information and differentiated opinions about a relationship from accusations related to crimes.
Yanina Latorre questioned Julieta Prandi after the model wrote to her to express her anger over the information she shared about her separation from Emanuel Ortega. On Sálvese quien pueda (América TV), the journalist stood by her statements and rejected the criticism.
The host targeted Prandi's phrase about a supposed break of codes in the couple. She also considered that the musician had the right to defend himself and assured that she still does not know the model's version of what happened.
During her program, Latorre explained that the impact of the separation was related to how Prandi described the end of the relationship. According to the journalist, the model did not limit herself to communicating the breakup but spoke of an alleged lack of codes.
“She is wrong. I keep telling her because when you open the door to tell this and what you want is for them to find out, if you tell me that she would have only said after 27 days we separated, she said ‘broke the codes’. The guy has to come out and defend himself”, she expressed.
The host also clarified that she is not friends with Emanuel Ortega and recalled her previous confrontations with the singer's family. “I have fought with the Ortega family. I have destroyed them a thousand times”, she stated.
In that sense, she demanded that Prandi explain what happened for her to talk about a break of codes. Latorre mentioned that, according to the version she received from the musician, the conflict was related to the entry of women into the recording studio.
“If one part of the relationship is telling me one thing, I am not going to say it in potential. Because they are not telling me that she is a rapist. They are telling me she is toxic, which is not a crime. It’s a separate opinion”, she affirmed.
Additionally, Latorre referred to the duration of the bond between Prandi and Ortega and questioned the impact that the breakup had. “Do you know what is interesting about this, Julieta? That it lasted 27 days. No one in their right mind separates after 27 days”, she remarked.
At the end of her statement, the host maintained that Prandi should accept that other people may have a different perspective on the separation.
“She wants us to think like her and have her opinion. She needs to understand that there might be someone who agrees with Emanuel or someone who agrees with her”, she pointed out.
Latorre concluded that, for now, she does not know the model's version of what happened. “We do not know her side”, she affirmed.
