The ultra-democratic governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, publicly defended his decision to pardon an undocumented immigrant of Laotian origin who was convicted of raping a 10-year-old girl in order to save him from deportation.
Tou Lue Vang, a 42-year-old illegal immigrant for whom a deportation order was pending due to committing an abhorrent crime, received a pardon from the Minnesota Board of Pardons on June 10. Fortunately, the Trump administration intervened last Friday, revoking Vang's legal status and deporting him to his home country, Laos.
Kamala Harris's former running mate criticized this decision and sought to exonerate the pedophile. "Did that make us safer?" the Democratic politician told local press. "Did it make the children left behind more stable? Did it improve the idea that we shouldn't all be judged by our worst day?" he added.

Thanks to Trump's intervention, Walz's operation failed
Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced Vang's deportation on Friday and told Fox News: "Americans should never live in fear that foreign sexual predators, protected from deportation by their own elected officials, could endanger them or their children."
