The collaborator of the Democratic doctor confessed his crime and reached a deal with the prosecution to reduce his sentence

David Morens, one of the close advisors to the Democratic physician Anthony Fauci in public office, pleaded guilty this Tuesday to a charge of conspiracy to commit offenses and defraud the United States. The accused registered his guilty plea in the Maryland courts under an agreement with the prosecutor of the case, and he is the first official to fall for covering up the truth during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2024, a subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives discovered that Morens was using his personal email, outside the reach of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, to discuss grants from the National Institutes of Health with the infectious diseases group EcoHealth Alliance.

Additionally, Morens co-wrote articles that dismissed the lab leak theory as "totally discredited" and promoted the narrative that the virus had an animal origin, all to protect his Chinese communist partners.

The Trump Justice Department announced the following: "Morens faces up to five years in prison for conspiracy to commit offenses and defraud the United States. Actual sentences for federal offenses are often less than the maximum penalties. A federal district judge determines the sentence after considering the United States Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.”

Morens testified before the congressional subcommittee that uncovered his offenses in 2024, where he was questioned about his emails. Fauci distanced himself from his former advisor, stating that Morens was not someone who advised him on substantive policy matters.

Although he did not act alone, Morens was one of the corrupt scientists who used his position as an official of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to fund gain-of-function experiments with animals in the same Wuhan laboratory where COVID-19 leaked, in addition to the infamous Beagle dog experiments that Fauci approved.
