The hero member of the jury in the trial of the filicide Lindsay Clancy who refused to declare the feminist nurse not guilty of the brutal murder of her children is an African American man approximately 30 years old.
The information was revealed this Friday morning by a fellow juror, Paula Devlin, when she appeared on a TV program. Devlin was one of the three female jurors who expressed their support for Clancy and praised the defense attorney for the infanticide, Kevin Reddington.
"Is the dissenting juror a Black man?" asked the interviewer Gayle King timidly. "Yes," replied the juror. "A Black man is the dissenting juror? Wow. I need to process this for a second," the host expressed in shock.

Devlin and the other two white women defending Clancy stated that the dissenting juror was "arrogant" and complained that he refused to listen to the nurses on the panel who provided information about a toxicology report presented as evidence to justify the murder. "They spoke to him about that specific issue, the question he had [about the toxicology report]; he simply dismissed the information they gave him completely," Devlin said.
This week, a younger juror also spoke out, admitting that her decision to declare the defendant not guilty by reason of insanity was based on her desire for Clancy to receive psychiatric help. "Originally, I felt she was guilty and criminally responsible for it, and maybe I still believe that in a way," this person confessed to CBS News.
"I think she was a woman who, you know, was not mentally well. She was someone who was in the midst of a significant mental health crisis, so I felt she was so deep into that that she couldn't see a way out. And that's why this was the only option," she continued.
Clancy confessed to having strangled her three young children to death with elastic bands, but she relied on the so-called insanity defense to avoid being sentenced to life in prison and going to jail. Last week, the trial was declared null after the jury was unable to reach a unanimous verdict. To the surprise of the left, it was revealed today that this anonymous hero is an African American.
