President Donald Trump reacted this morning to the advance of communism in New York, after candidates backed by the city's Marxist mayor, Zohran Mamdani, swept the Democratic Party primaries for Congress last night.
One of the victims of this radical wave was current Congressman Dan Goldman, who suffered a crushing defeat against former New York City Comptroller Brad Lander, an ally of Mamdani. It is worth remembering that Goldman was one of the main proponents of the first impeachment against Trump in 2019, a process from which the current president was acquitted by the Senate.
On the other hand, Claire Valdez, an assembly member supported by Mamdani, crushed Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso; while the campaign chief of the communist mayor, Darializa Avila Chevalier, surprised everyone by dethroning Congressman Adriano Espaillat, who had accumulated five consecutive terms in Congress and was a key player for the Democrats in the Capitol.

Trump's message
Upon observing the election results, Trump warned that history shows New York is only headed for a greater disaster. "Many communists running in blue states are failing spectacularly," the Republican leader expressed on his social media. "The votes seem to show they are doing quite well competing against each other."
"The bad news is that history has conclusively shown that oppressed states that will soon be in charge will ONLY GET WORSE," the president added, who also dedicated a scathing message to the defeated Goldman:
"Although he unsuccessfully tried to prosecute me, and despite the fact that he is a tremendous pest, I feel sorry for EX-Congressman Dan Goldman. He is wandering aimlessly, along with the ex-husband of the great Kellyanne Conway, through a vast field of 'Democrat' communists, trying with all his might to find his way. A very sad ending for a man who has no idea, and never did!!!," Trump concluded.
