The thwarted assassination attempt against Trump in Butler claimed another victim: Jim Copenhaver, who was 74 years old
A man who was injured during the attack against Donald Trump at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania has sadly passed away today due to complications from his injuries.
The man, named Jim Copenhaver, was 74 years old at the time of the assassination attempt and was severely injured on July 13, 2024, when the leftist terrorist Thomas Crooks opened fire on President Trump and the attendees of the event. Copenhaver was shot twice that day, once in the arm and once in the abdomen.
The volunteer firefighter Corey Comperatore was the first fatal victim of Crooks that July afternoon. The 50-year-old Trump supporter died a hero, protecting his wife, Helen, and his daughters from the leftist terrorist's gunfire.
Recently, Trump lashed out at Biden's FBI and accused it of covering up information about the attack against him. "Everyone knows that the corrupt Joe Biden's FBI did not do what it was supposed to do regarding the lunatic who shot me in Butler, PA," the president stated. "By the time I took office on January 20, most of the information had disappeared, was altered, corrupted, or no longer existed," he indicated.
"New information has just emerged! Why wasn't it seen a long time ago? This was all a Democratic plot to take me out of the election, which failed. The corrupt cop Christopher Wray [FBI director during the Biden administration] should pay a price for the way he handled this assassination attempt, and certainly for the things he said," the Republican leader added.
