The province of Corrientes will receive a private investment of 60 million dollars for the construction of a mega tourist and real estate resort in the northern area of the provincial capital, near the international airport Doctor Fernando Piragine Niveyro.
The project will be developed by the Brazilian group La Dorada Resort, whose representatives were received by Governor Juan Pablo Valdés at the Government House. The delegation was led by businessman Diógenes Bexaira, who presented the guidelines of the plan and confirmed the arrival of foreign capital in the province.

“We bring to Corrientes an investment mounted on a tourist villa, it is a validated business model abroad that we decided to implement in the capital of Corrientes,” explained Bexaira after the meeting. The businessman highlighted the institutional conditions and the comparative advantages of the country to attract international scale developments.
The venture will occupy a plot of 300 hectares. Of that total, about 50 hectares will be allocated to the main resort and hotel amenities, while the rest will be part of a residential and vacation real estate development, with more than a thousand lots projected.
The investment aims to expand the high-end accommodation offer in Corrientes and to position the province as a destination capable of attracting national and international tourism. The proximity to the airport seeks to facilitate the arrival of visitors, while the Paraná River and the Esteros del Iberá appear as two of the main natural attractions to enhance the project.
According to the schedule presented by the investors, the first phase is expected to be completed in 2029, with the main resort operational and about 40% of the total infrastructure finished. The complete development is expected to be finalized by 2032, when the urban, road, and residential works throughout the site will be completed.
One of the central points of the announcement is that the financing will be private and of Brazilian origin, without requiring financial assistance from the State. Nothing will come out of taxpayers' pockets, symbolizing the impact and success of national economic policy: clear rules to generate opportunities and investment.

The labor impact will also be significant for the region. The company estimates the generation of 500 permanent direct jobs once the complex is operational, in addition to between 2,000 and 4,000 indirect jobs related to construction, logistics, services, and local suppliers.
