The mayor in use of the license of Quilmes and current provincial deputy, Mayra Mendoza, once again vindicated the leadership of the corrupt former president Cristina Kirchner and crossed paths with the Buenos Aires governor Axel Kicillof, in the midst of the dispute over the management of space.

The statements were made in the run-up to a new anniversary of the birth of Eva Perón, in a context where different sectors of Peronism seek to position themselves for the political future of the movement. In this context, Mendoza was forceful: “even if they don't like it, Cristina drives from San José 1111

”.

During her speech, the leader of La Cámpora reinforced the centrality of the former president within the space. “Eva Perón and Cristina Fernández de Kirchner are women who guide us, one from heaven and the other from San José 1111,” she said, insisting on the leadership role of the corrupt former president

Without mentioning names, his words were read as a new message to the sectors that seek to contest that leadership, in particular the environment of the

Buenos Aires governor.

In this sense, Mendoza also appealed to a historical comparison to reinforce his position: “Or someone can say that Peronism was not banned from 55 to 73 when Perón was in exile. There could have been candidates, yes, but that's how it came out of wanting to do Peronism without Perón

.”

The leader also harshly criticized the Judiciary. He spoke of a “judicial mafia” and a “corrupt court”, and argued that Cristina Fernández de Kirchner is being the victim of an

alleged “persecution”.

“She has been kidnapped because she is an innocent woman, and paying with her body for what they wanted to do and she of course didn't do, which is that she betrays ideas, the people, our doctrine, our history and a political project,” he said.

Along these lines, Mendoza insisted on the idea of proscription: “That's why it's banned,” adding that “Peronism is banned with Cristina Fernández de Kirchner

kidnapped.”

The statements were made during a day of recognition called “Eva Perón”, held together with the president of the Buenos Aires Chamber of Deputies, Alejandro Dichiara, the national deputy Teresa García and other provincial legislators.

In another part of her speech, Mendoza once again referred to the situation of the former president and called on the militancy to mobilize. “If Evita were among us, I would fight for Cristina's freedom,”

he said.

In addition, he stressed that as militants they have “the duty” to act accordingly: “That is why we have to respect, defend, care for and military it. And if she wants to be president again, let her be a candidate and let the people decide.”

Finally, he left a phrase that also pointed towards the political space: “I prefer to be unbearable rather than remain silent, in the face of many of the men who today have the opportunity to represent thanks to Cristina”.
