President Javier Milei held a meeting this Sunday with the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, as part of his new official visit to the country and the strengthening of bilateral relations, in the midst of the conflict in the Middle East. The Argentine president was warmly received in Jerusalem by the
Israeli leader.
During the meeting, Netanyahu publicly highlighted the relationship between the two countries and defined Milei as a “great friend of the State of Israel”, stressing that the bilateral link is at one of its strongest points. The images released by the Prime Minister himself showed a climate of trust between the two leaders, with an effusive greeting that began
with an embrace.
Milei arrived in Tel Aviv early this Sunday morning and, as the first step in her official schedule, visited the Western Wall, one of the holiest sites in Judaism.
The scale has a strong symbolic component in national foreign policy, since the beginning of his administration Javier sought to strengthen ties with Israel both diplomatically and culturally.
