Adrián Ravier formalized his resignation this Wednesday from the seat he held for La Pampa in the Chamber of Deputies and announced the date of his debut as presidential spokesperson. The liberal economist will have his official presentation this Friday at 11 AM at Casa Rosada and next Tuesday he will lead his first press conference before accredited journalists.
The departure of Ravier was accepted by the lower house during a key session for the Government's economic agenda under Javier Milei. Before formally leaving his seat, the representative of La Libertad Avanza guaranteed the quorum needed by the ruling party to open the parliamentary debate and advance with theSúper RIGI.

In his place, Martín Matzkin was sworn in, who will complete the term corresponding to the Pampean seat until December 2029. Thus, Ravier concluded his time in Congress and will take on a strategic role in presidential communication, tasked with explaining the advances of the economic program with greater technical rigor and public clarity.
Ravier had assumed office as a national deputy in December 2025, after leading the La Libertad Avanza list in La Pampa. His resignation came after the Government decided to incorporate him into the Presidential Spokesperson role, at a time when Casa Rosada seeks to reinforce the public explanation of the successes achieved by the administration.
After the formal acceptance of his departure, the economist published a farewell message in which he thanked the Pampeans who supported him with their votes. “I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Pampean citizens who placed their trust in me and allowed me to be their voice in the most reformist Congress in history,” he stated.
Additionally, he emphasized that he exercised that mandate “with the same conviction” with which he embraced the ideas of freedom throughout his academic and political life. The phrase marks the profile that the Government will seek to project in this new stage of official communication: a spokesperson role with greater technical weight, strong economic training, and ideological alignment with the transformation program promoted by Milei.

The President himself had already publicly highlighted the role Ravier will have within Casa Rosada. During his participation in the Fundación Faro, Milei stated that the new spokesperson will have “a key task ahead” and emphasized the importance of clearly communicating the results of the economic program in the face of an opposition that resorts to misinformation as a resource.
Ravier's official presentation will be this Friday at 11 AM at Casa Rosada, in an event broadcast live and open to the press room. Then, next Tuesday, he will lead his first press conference as presidential spokesperson and will be available to accredited journalists.
