Ailén Cova has once again generated buzz on social media and in the entertainment world by requesting that her parts be removed from the documentary Muchachas de Telefe, which aims to show the more intimate side of the wives of the players who became champions in Qatar 2022.
The channel had called several of them to share their experiences during that historic moment. Cova, partner of Alexis Mac Allister, had recorded her testimony in 2024, but as the airing approached, she decided to withdraw from the project.
According to Ángel de Brito on his X account, the main reason was to avoid further media exposure. The Liverpool player offered the participants $10,000, an amount that Ailén rejected to avoid appearing on screen.
Controversy with Mac Allister's ex
This request comes in the context of strong criticism that Cova has received since the midfielder ended his relationship with Camila Mayán. The situation has caused a stir in the media and among the footballer's followers.

On Monday, June 8, a reporter from Sálvese quien Pueda approached Mayán to ask her about the documentary. The influencer appeared upset to see that others were mentioned but not her, and expressed her discomfort.
