Transfers between personal accounts are becoming increasingly common among banking users and virtual wallets in Argentina. However, although moving money between accounts of the same holder is not prohibited, ARCA is monitoring these operations and has established new limits for June 2026.
The Revenue and Customs Control Agency seeks to detect fiscal inconsistencies and movements that cannot be justified. Therefore, both banks and payment platforms must automatically report certain operations when they exceed specific monthly amounts.

From what amount ARCA controls transfers between personal accounts
According to the current parameters for June 2026, ARCA will activate automatic controls when the accumulated transfers between personal accounts exceed certain monthly limits.
Individuals: from $50 million accumulated monthly.
Companies or legal entities: from $30 million accumulated monthly.
One of the key points is that the agency does not analyze each transfer individually, but rather the total accumulated movements made throughout the entire calendar month.
This means that several small operations can also come under review if, when added together, they exceed the limits established by the tax authority.

What other operations ARCA monitors in June 2026
In addition to transfers between accounts of the same holder, the agency also monitors other financial movements considered relevant.
Cash withdrawals: from $10 million accumulated.
Monthly balances in accounts: from $50 million for individuals.
Fixed terms: from $100 million.
