The "March of Anger" against Milei failed: The left marched, achieved nothing, and went home

This Saturday saw the so-called "March of Anger", a demonstration called by the left and Kirchnerism in Plaza de Mayo against the Government of Javier Milei.

The march, which ultimately turned out to be a failure, aimed to show the "anger" of leftist protesters for losing the elections against Milei.

Under the slogan “Organize the anger to defeat Milei”, the mobilization began at 3:30 PM in Plaza del Congreso and then moved along Avenida de Mayo to reach Plaza de Mayo, in front of the Casa Rosada.

Among the main political leaders who called for the march were leftists Myriam Bregman, Nicolás del Caño, Romina Del Plá, and Gabriel Solano. The mobilization also included the participation of union organizations, social groups, and other Kirchnerist sectors.

Among the demands, the protesters criticized Milei's “chainsaw plan”, the firing of state "ñoquis", and the alleged "negative economic consequences" of the policies implemented by the libertarian administration, which achieved a significant decrease in poverty and inflation.

The call aimed to present the mobilization as an expression of rejection from "all" Argentinians towards the Government. However, it was composed solely of a couple of leftist parties, Kirchnerist organizations, and opposition political groups.

Bolivian immigrants at the march against Milei

One aspect that also drew attention during the day was the presence of Bolivian immigrants and those from neighboring countries, who participated in the protest and expressed criticisms towards both the Argentine Government and the authorities of their own country.

During a dialogue with the media, one of the protesters explained: "We are migrants of different nationalities supporting this march of anger, because we also suffer in our country".

The same participant criticized Milei's Government and stated: "This government has criminalized migrants, and we demand the resignation of Rodrigo Paz in Bolivia".

The mobilization culminated in Plaza de Mayo, where the central act took place, and finally, without achieving absolutely anything, the dispersal began.
