Honda lowered the prices of two of its motorcycles in the medium displacement category during September 2026. The measure affects the CB300F Twister and the CB500 Hornet.
Additionally, the brand maintains the price of the NX500 without increases, which had already been reduced last month. The CB300F Twister is now priced at $7,850,000.
The CB300F Twister went from $8,942,900 to $7,850,000. The CB500 Hornet, meanwhile, is priced at u$s9,200, with a decrease of 14.02%.
The NX500 retains last month's price of u$s9,500. The new range of the CB500 Hornet also includes a version with E-Clutch system, priced at u$s9,700.
The Honda CB300F Twister measures 2,084 mm in length, 765 mm in width, and 1,075 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1,390 mm, weighs 151 kg, and features a 14-liter fuel tank.
Its engine is a single-cylinder, four-stroke, four-valve, air-cooled engine. It delivers 24 HP and 26 Nm of torque, along with a six-speed transmission and anti-rebound clutch. For the suspension, it uses Showa inverted fork in the front and Showa Monoshock in the rear.
The CB500 Hornet is a mid-displacement naked bike. It measures 2,081 mm in length, 798 mm in width, and 1,059 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,409 mm.
Its weight is 188 kg and the tank has a capacity of 17.1 liters. The engine is a parallel twin, four-stroke, eight-valve, with 471 cc.
The engine delivers 47 HP of power and 43 Nm of torque. It also incorporates PGM-FI electronic injection and a six-speed transmission with assisted and anti-rebound clutch.
In August 2026, 73,566 motorcycles were registered, a 34.2% increase compared to the 54,814 units registered in August 2025.
According to the Motorcycle Division of ACARA, in the first eight months of the year, 586,650 units were registered. This figure represents a 41.2% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
Honda led the market in August with 15,581 units. Following were Gilera, with 8,988; Motomel, with 8,724; Keller, with 6,593; and Zanella, with 6,506.
