Juan Pablo Vojvoda broke the silence after his departure from Racing: "It was a decision of the club and I accepted it"

In an interview with DSports Radio, the now former head coach stated that he accepted the institution's decision and acknowledged that he is still processing the impact of the defeat against the Xeneize. I am not going to be an obstacle for Racing,” he explained.

Vojvoda also mentioned that he was willing to face the media immediately after the defeat. "I had no problem speaking the other day (after the defeat against the Xeneize). I found out later. It was a decision of the club. I told the directors that I had no problem going out and facing it. I was not going to hide because of a result,” he recounted.

The last chapter of his time at Racing was written during a meeting with Milito. Vojvoda described the meeting as a cordial conversation. "It was a very simple conversation, with a very cordial treatment, between two people who were hurting. He told me that the results were not being achieved and that they would have to make a change. I accepted that. There is not much more to say", he recounted.

The coach admitted that he still struggles to process how a match that Racing seemed to have under control slipped away. “The blow from Boca, from this match, was very hard,” he stated, and then elaborated: "Being ahead 2-0. When analyzing the development of the match, the coach explained that the game plan prepared to face the Xeneize worked for a good part of the match.
