This Tuesday, Migue Granados surprised his audience by confirming that he will be part of the Spanish voice cast for Toy Story 5 across Latin America. The host announced the news live during his show Soñé que Volaba and did not hide his excitement for the project.

"Yesterday, more precisely last night, I received an email confirming that I got the role in Toy Story 5," Granados shared on air. He detailed that it involves voicing a character and that he still "can't believe it."

The role will be brief, as the main characters retain their historical voice actors. However, the host particularly valued the scene in which his character interacts with Woody. "It's a character that appears in a very funny situation, and the most important thing for me is that he spoke with Woody," he expressed.

Finally, he revealed the name of the character: he will voice Dr. Locuaz.

Details of the new installment

Toy Story 5 promises to maintain the essence that has captivated generations with the adventures of the toys. The movie will premiere in theaters across Latin America on June 18, 2026, a day before it opens in the United States. This fifth installment will include new additions to the voice cast.

Tom Hanks reprises his iconic role as Woody, and Tim Allen returns to bring Buzz Lightyear to life. Joan Cusack returns as Jessie, Blake Clark as Slinky, and Tony Hale as Forky. Among the new additions, actress Greta Lee stands out, who will lend her voice to Lilypad.

The confirmation of Migue Granados generates excitement among the Argentine and Latin American audience, who closely follow every detail of the saga. His participation adds a local touch to a Pixar production that continues to be a global phenomenon.

Fans are already speculating about how that funny scene will play out where Dr. Locuaz exchanges words with Woody. Although it is a small appearance, it represents an important achievement for the host of Olga, who adds this project to his career in media and entertainment.

Reactions and expectations

Granados shared the news with genuine enthusiasm, highlighting the pride of being part of such a beloved franchise. The announcement immediately stirred excitement on social media and among followers of the show, who celebrated the good news from the journalist and host.

The Toy Story saga has been a pioneer in animation and in exploring themes such as friendship, loyalty, and the passage of time. With this fifth installment, it is expected to continue captivating both children and adults who grew up with the first films.

The dubbing for Latin America has a great responsibility in conveying the original emotions and humor. The choice of Migue Granados for Dr. Locuaz aims to bring freshness and closeness to the regional audience in that key and funny scene.

There is little time left until the premiere, and expectations are growing. Meanwhile, Granados' followers are already anticipating how his voice will sound in the character and are looking forward to more details or previews of the film in the coming weeks.
