Moria Casán revealed that her granddaughter Helena will have a role in Moria, the series from Netflix premiering on August 14.

The actress shared the news during La mañana con Moria (El Trece) and hinted that the young woman will appear in a strong and controversial part of her story.

Moria Casán revealed that Helena, daughter of Sofía Gala, will make her acting debut in Moria, the Netflix series inspired by her life.

The diva shared the news during the closing of La mañana con Moria, on El Trece, and assured that this is a scoop that had not been communicated yet.

“My granddaughter Helena is making her debut. Nobody knows this. I'm giving the scoop here. Nobody knows it yet,” the actress expressed.

According to Moria Casán, Helena's participation will be linked to one of the most sentimental and controversial moments of her life.

“I'm giving the scoop here and in a very controversial part of my life,” the protagonist noted, without revealing what character her granddaughter will portray.

The actress also anticipated that the appearance will be part of an event that viewers will discover when watching the production.

“Since I didn't want to sugarcoat it, I wanted to play with the truth,” explained Moria Casán regarding how she decided to tell different moments of her story.

Additionally, she highlighted that in that scene “you can see my granddaughter making her debut” and concluded with a reference to the family bond: “So the whole lineage is there.”

Moria will premiere on August 14 worldwide, just before Moria Casán's 80th birthday.

The special presentation of the production took place on August 11 at the Lola Membrives theater. The actress praised the launch carried out by Netflix and About Producciones.

“Today, the premiere of Moria is taking place at the Lola Membrives theater,” she shared during her program.

She also spoke about the first reviews the production received before its premiere: “The reviews we have are extraordinary,” she stated.
