What Luis Vadalá's family questions about Moria's series
The series about the life of Moria Casán, released on Netflix, has become embroiled in controversy over the portrayal of Luis Vadalá.
According to Ángel de Brito on LAM, Ingrid Vadalá, the eldest daughter of the businessman, is preparing a lawsuit against the production and the platform.
Ingrid, 47, holds a degree in Human Resources, has two children, and is not connected to the entertainment world, as the host mentioned.
The woman specifically criticized how the fiction presents her father. She stated that the image shown does not match the person she knew during her childhood and adolescence.
“Everything that is shown is honestly absurd and vulgar,” Ingrid expressed, according to the statement read by De Brito.
What does Luis Vadalá's family question about the Moria series
Vadalá's daughter maintained that her father was “a gentleman, an educated and respectful man.” She also questioned the series for portraying him as a grotesque and rude person.

Ingrid also criticized the fiction for using her father's origins to build that representation. According to her account, Vadalá never hid being “a neighborhood guy” or having worked in his workshop.
For her, those aspects were used to belittle him and she considered that it represents a lack of respect towards any worker.

Additionally, Ingrid clarified that she had differences with her father during the last years of their relationship. Nevertheless, she maintained that this does not change the image she has of him.
“My dad could have a thousand flaws, but he was a gentleman,” she affirmed in the message shared by Ángel de Brito.

What Vadalá's daughter said about her relationship with Moria Casán
The complaint also targets the reconstruction of the relationship between Moria Casán and Luis Vadalá. Ingrid claimed that both the beginning and the end of the story were presented differently.
“Practically everything that has been shown bears no relation to what truly happened,” stated Vadalá's daughter.
Ingrid explained that she was about 12 years old when she began to closely witness her father's relationship with the artist. Therefore, she emphasized that her statements arise from experiences she personally witnessed.

She also claimed to know the circumstances following the separation. In that regard, she questioned one of the situations that, as she indicated, the series tries to insinuate.
“If what is being insinuated really happened, that is, that my dad kept something that didn't belong to him, he wouldn't have gone through the financial hardships he faced after the separation,” she stated.

The scene refers to an old version related to Susana Giménez's hair and her historic hairdresser, Miguel Romano.
