River Plate could finalize a new departure at the close of the transfer market. Facundo Colidio appears as one of the main candidates to leave the squad and his future is increasingly looking towards Brazilian football, after Vasco da Gama accelerated negotiations for the forward.
The team from Rio de Janeiro has made considerable progress in discussions with the Núñez institution and, according to reports from Brazil, both parties are close to reaching a definitive agreement.
The interest from the Brazilian club gained momentum in recent hours. Admar Lopes, the sporting director of Vasco da Gama, traveled to Argentina to negotiate with Racing for Santiago Sosa and took advantage of his presence in Buenos Aires to establish contacts with River for Colidio.
The conversations progressed quickly and the operation is close to being finalized. Although there are still some contractual details to resolve, sources in Brazil claim that there is a verbal agreement in principle for Vasco to acquire the Argentine attacker.
The figure being discussed for the transfer is around 5 million dollars, although the transfer has not yet been formalized and the parties continue to work on completing the final aspects of the negotiation.
