The deputies of La Libertad Avanza Joaquín Ojeda and Nahuel Sotelo led a panel on Thursday against the hormonal treatment of minors and gender indoctrination, as part of the political forum “Freedom for the Future,” held at the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires.

The meeting brought together legislators, officials, mayors, and national and international specialists to discuss proposals related to the demographic crisis, the strengthening of families, and the comprehensive protection of children and adolescents.

Ojeda was responsible for moderating the panel titled “The protection of minors against hormonal treatment and gender indoctrination,” which also included Sotelo, the Buenos Aires legislator Andrea Freguia, and Laura Bryant Handford, an analyst from the American organization The Heritage Foundation.

During his speech, the national deputy stated that the discussion cannot be considered a recent phenomenon, but rather the result of an ideological process developed over decades by leftist progressivism and gradually consolidated within Western institutions.

As he explained, this agenda managed to establish itself in Argentina through laws, educational programs, and various public policies. For Ojeda, understanding this historical journey is essential to grasp the cultural battle that the liberal movement and good people in the country currently face.

“With President Javier Milei, Argentina has begun to fight against the structures and ideas that have led the country to this decay for years,” stated legislator Ojeda.

Ojeda asserted that the Government inherited a country deteriorated in economic, cultural, moral, and institutional aspects, and warned that reversing this situation will require time due to the obstacles that the transformation process will encounter from the beneficiaries of the disastrous ecosystem.

“We did not come to speculate; we came to defend our children, to recover common sense, and to fight the battle that for a long time no one wanted to fight,” he added.

The event was organized by Political Network for Values, along with the foundations Faro, Argéntea, Free, Mises Cono Sur, and the Global Center for Human Rights. Also participating were the Deputy Mayor of Buenos Aires, Clara Muzzio; Deputy Santiago Santurio; Senator Carmen Álvarez Rivero; and other political leaders.

The meeting highlighted a discussion that for years was marginalized by a significant part of the political leadership and the progressivism that held power. With Milei's arrival in Government, the defense of minors and the questioning of the woke agenda began to occupy a central place in the political discussion.
