A recent Israeli intelligence report revealed that the terrorist regime of Iranhad allegedly planned to assassinate President Donald Trump during his recent official visit to Turkey.
Journalist Yaron Avraham from Channel 12 in Israel reported this Sunday that intelligence services discovered information —which was shared with U.S. officials— indicating that the Islamic regime intended to "eliminate" Trump, which led to a change in the plane the president used to return to Washington.
"We published new details about the Iranian assassination attempt against Trump; the assessment: Iran wanted to eliminate the president during his visit to Turkey", Avraham reported. "The foreign intelligence that detected the information and warned the Americans prompted the change of the plane on which the president was flying back to Washington," he added.
Given the Iranian threat, extraordinary security precautions surrounded Trump's departure from Ankara after the NATO summit, as the president unexpectedly returned aboard an older and heavily armored Air Force One, instead of the recently converted aircraft that had been donated by Qatar.
Also, members of the White House press corps were ordered to keep the window shades of the plane closed after taking off from Ankara. "It was probably due to the scum around here," Trump told reporters when asked about this change of plans.

An urgent change of Air Force One
Previously, the Wall Street Journal had reported that Israeli intelligence warned U.S. officials about a new Iranian plot to assassinate Trump, and that this report raised concerns among Trump's security team, since Iran shares a border with Turkey.
While this intelligence data has not been fully verified, the warning contributed to concerns about whether the presidential plane donated by Qatar had sufficient defensive capabilities for such a high-risk trip. In this regard, the Trump administration summoned several journalists from the New York Times who leaked unauthorized government information concerning Air Force One and security decisions when flying the president.
The Iranian regime has repeatedly threatened Trump after the Republican leader took out all the top commanders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard —including its commander and most prominent figure, General Qassem Soleimani, in 2020— and Ayatollah Khamenei in February of this year when the war began.
