The President of the United States, Donald Trump, made a final call to voters in New York to support the Republican candidate for governor, Bruce Blakeman, in the elections next Tuesday. The president stated that the current state government, led by Democrat Kathy Hochul, has been a disaster for citizens and asserted that the Republican leader has the ability to restore safety and efficient management to the state.
During an electoral teleconference held on Saturday to promote the candidacies of Blakeman, Saritha Komatireddy, Republican candidate for Attorney General, and Anthony Constantino, Congressional candidate from northern New York, Trump launched harsh criticisms against Hochul and urged voters to take advantage of the polls to push for a change in direction.
''Kathy Hochul may be the worst governor in the history of New York State and one of the worst in the country,'' the president stated, who described her administration as a failure and questioned her ability to lead one of the most important states in the United States.

Trump particularly highlighted Blakeman's background, current executive of Nassau County, on Long Island, whom he described as a longtime friend and an administrator with concrete results. According to the president, his performance demonstrates that he can bring effective management to the entire state.
''Anyone who can do what he did in politics and achieve significant results, and also has the safest county in the United States, is a great administrator,'' Trump noted, referring to a ranking by ''US News & World Report'' that places Nassau County among the safest in the country.
The presidential endorsement represents a significant boost for the Republican campaign, which seeks to capitalize on voter discontent with security issues, the cost of living, and Democratic management. Blakeman has presented his candidacy as an alternative to Hochul's political model and has expressed his intention to incorporate a leadership style similar to Trump's in Albany, the state capital.

Trump anticipates a Republican victory and promises federal support
Although recent polls show Hochul with a lead of between 11 and 14 percentage points, Trump expressed confidence in Blakeman's chances and predicted that the Republican could prevail at the polls.
''I will be waiting for your call'', the president commented, expressing his expectation that the candidate would be one of the first to contact him if he wins.
He also promised that a potential Republican administration would receive significant support from the federal government, an opportunity that, as he explained, would be more difficult to seize under the current dismal Democratic leadership.
''He will receive tremendous help from the federal government. It is hard to help people who do such a bad job. It's almost like throwing good money after bad money,'' Trump stated, in a direct criticism of Hochul's disastrous management.
