The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran released a 25-page letter addressed to American citizens, urging them to "punish" President Donald Trump and to vote for the Democratic Party in the upcoming midterm elections.
The document harshly criticized the president and blamed his administration and support for Israel for the war against the terrorist regime.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard asserted that American voters should reject both Trump and his support for Israel at the polls. The message came as the Iranian regime once again questioned Washington's policies and sought to establish its own version of the causes and consequences of the conflict.

“The national security of the United States and the lives of its military personnel are in the hands of someone who is not only a hardened liar but also an incredibly greedy man whose only motivation in life is the accumulation of greater wealth,” stated the spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, Hossein Mohebbi.
The enrichment of uranium
The letter also accused the American president of concealing the alleged "peaceful character" of Iran's nuclear program. This claim was made despite accusations from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that Tehran was enriching uranium far above the levels needed for a nuclear power plant.
The United States and Israel launched the military operation against Iran primarily as a measure aimed at preventing the Islamic Republic from developing nuclear weapons. In this context, the Revolutionary Guard again questioned U.S. actions and rejected its designation as a terrorist group.
The Iranian force claimed that there was "not a single verifiable case in which the Revolutionary Guard has committed an act of violence against civilians."

These statements come after the regime has killed between 7,000 and 30,000 protesters in January of this year during the violent repression of opposition demonstrations in the country.
The economic issue
Another focus of the letter was the American economic situation. The Revolutionary Guard falsely claimed that the U.S. economy is on the brink of collapse due to rising fuel prices caused by the conflict.
“The U.S. economy is on the brink of collapse, and yet he continues to tell Americans that the economy is booming and that prices will soon start to fall,” the letter states.
“This is perhaps his biggest lie,” the document continued in reference to the president, adding: “Soon, the dam will break and the economy will collapse, causing, unfortunately, great suffering for Americans for many years.”

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard also asserted that it can inflict enough economic damage on the United States to force it to yield, while Iran faces a severe economic crisis resulting from U.S. sanctions.
Currently, Iran is experiencing a decline in trade under the U.S. blockade, and its currency hit historic lows this week. Mohebbi also rejected claims about a loss of Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz, a strategic route for oil transportation.

“The fact that Americans manage, at an enormous cost, with considerable difficulties and high risk, to secretly introduce a small vessel through the Strait of Hormuz under the cover of darkness to export, say, 100 or 200 barrels of oil, does not mean that the strait is open,” the document concluded.
However, according to the maritime tracking company Kpler, more than 7 million barrels are leaving the Strait of Hormuz daily, while total crude oil exports from the Persian Gulf are currently at 72% of pre-war levels.
