The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported that an undocumented individual from Venezuela was arrested near the White House on Thursday, after allegedly being found inside a stolen vehicle carrying multiple firearms and threatening to kill President Donald Trump.
Secret Service officers approached the suspect after seeing him "acting suspiciously in his car while parked on Constitution Avenue in Washington DC," according to the DHS to Fox News. The undocumented individual allegedly told the agents that he was hearing voices in his head telling him to go to the nation's capital to kill Trump.
Subsequently, the officers discovered that the vehicle had been reported stolen, and the suspect admitted to having weapons inside. An AR-15 style weapon, a Mac 10, and two Glock 43X were recovered from the detainee's arsenal, along with dozens of rounds of ammunition.

Subsequent proceedings identified the apprehended individual as Ronny Yordrix Guanipa Chrinos, who illegally entered the United States through the Texas border in March 2024. Chirinos was arrested by the U.S. Border Patrol but was released within the country under the Joe Biden administration.
