The president Donald Trump confirmed on Tuesday that the Strait of Hormuz remains open and operational, and added that the U.S. naval blockade against the Islamic regime "is still in full force and effect."
The president also wrote that "there are no ongoing or scheduled conversations or dialogues" with Tehran and stated that all mines in the strategic waterway have been removed or detonated.
Yesterday marked two months since the memorandum of understanding between the two warring countries was signed on June 17, a pact that quickly crumbled amid disagreements over control of the strait and ceasefire violations by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard terrorists. In fact, Trump had already declared the agreement broken since July 7.
