The Government of Donald Trump declassified a new batch of documents on UFOs, which includes reports, photographs, recordings, and official documents related to investigations conducted over more than seven decades.
This is the fifth release of files related to these phenomena and contains a total of 41 documents from records of the FBI, the CIA, and files linked to the U.S. presidency.
The released material includes more than a dozen videos, three images, and about twenty documents in PDF format. The records span from 1953 to the current year and include various reported episodes from different locations around the world, with recordings of objects exhibiting behaviors that remain unexplained.
Among the most notable elements of the new package are videos showing a sphere moving over a residential area in the Middle East and another recording in which a black sphere appears to float over the Pacific Ocean, disappearing for a moment and then reappearing.
The U.S. Department of Defense had initiated this series of publications after President Donald Trump requested the release of documents through an executive order at the beginning of this year.
Since then, the Pentagon has made five progressive releases that have accumulated hundreds of files related to sightings and reports of UFOs.
The files
One of the videos included in this new batch was recorded in 2021 over the Gulf of Oman and shows what the documents describe as a “cold” dark sphere moving erratically.
Another audiovisual record corresponds to a recording made in 2025 by a U.S. military sensor in an undisclosed location in the Middle East. The footage shows a sphere moving in a straight line over what appears to be a residential urban area.
The new package also contains documents from the FBI. One of them compiles the testimony of a former military pilot who claimed to have observed strange lights during a flight between Boston and Dublin in October 2023.
According to his account, other pilots reportedly witnessed similar situations during the early morning. The described lights started with low intensity, increased in brightness, and then disappeared, while some remained stationary and others changed direction.
The files
Additionally, images recorded in 2019 over the Pacific Ocean were released, where a black sphere appears to disappear and then reappears with unstable movements before slowly moving away.
Among the historical documents is a report from 1953 prepared by the U.S. Naval Photographic Interpretation Center, which analyzes two videos captured in Montana and Utah in 1950 and 1952. The agency concluded that the observed objects exhibited characteristics incompatible with natural phenomena.
The images included in this latest publication are graphic representations based on accounts of direct encounters. One of them shows a large dark triangle in the sky with lights located at its vertices, based on the testimony of two former U.S. military personnel about an episode that occurred in 2011.
The publication of these documents comes amid renewed public interest in the United States and around the world regarding the possibility of extraterrestrial life and unexplained aerial phenomena.
