The Peronist group Modelo Argentino decided to distance itself from the ultra-Kirchnerist activistFausto Frau after he was accused of harassment by multiple women.
The organization publicly communicated the decision and emphasized that the measure was in line with its "own values" and its loyalty towards its female members.
The statement was released on August 24, 2026, and, as explained by the group, the decision was made collectively and consensually. In this way, Modelo Argentino sought to make it clear that Frau's removal was a resolution taken by the entire group.

In the message published on social media, the organization also rejected the rumors linking Frau's departure to alleged internal problems or differences with the leadership.
"From Modelo Argentino, we want to communicate that collectively and consensually we have made the decision to remove Fausto Frau from our space", states the announcement.
Furthermore, "we clarify and deny any version related to 'problems with the leadership'. Our decision aligns with Peronist values and loyalty towards our female members, values that do not allow us to share the space with a person who lacks the same", it concludes.

The case generated a response on social media following the release of the statement, which formalized Frau's exit from the Peronist political space.
The decision confirmed from within the Modelo Argentino group the accusations against someone who until now was part of the organization.
In parallel, this is a new case where a relatively well-known Kirchnerist activist is removed from organizations or reported by his own female colleagues for sexual harassment, something that happens quite frequently in Peronism.
With the announcement, Modelo Argentino clarified that the removal was a collective and consensual decision and that it was not motivated by differences with the leadership but by darker and more concerning reasons.
