The Minister of State Deregulation and Transformation, Federico Sturzenegger, participated in the launch of “Report Your Tranca” in Bolivia, a platform created by the government of Rodrigo Paz Pereira to denounce bureaucratic obstacles in public procedures. The initiative was presented as part of the “Tranca Cero” program and took as a reference the Argentine model of “Report Bureaucracy”, promoted by the Government of

Javier Milei.

During the International Meeting for the Modernization of the State, Sturzenegger explained Argentina's experience in deregulation, administrative simplification and state modernization. The minister stressed the need to remove barriers that make production more expensive, curb trade and restrict the freedom of citizens, one of the main flags of the reformist program being carried out by the libertarian

administration.

The presence of the Argentine official marked an important political event for the region: the deregulation agenda implemented by Milei began to be seen as a model by other South American governments. In this case, Bolivia advanced with a tool directly inspired by the Argentine scheme, which allows citizens to report rules, requirements and procedures that hinder economic activity or unnecessarily complicate daily life. The Argentine portal was officially presented as a tool for citizen participation to identify regulations that create unnecessary obstacles for companies, markets

and citizens.

In parallel, the Bolivian government announced a concrete measure to reduce the administrative burden: starting June 1, the 14 ministries and 101 decentralized entities will no longer require photocopies of the identity card or birth certificate. The decision was announced by the Minister of the Presidency, José Luis Lupo, as part of a national instruction to eliminate redundant requirements and move towards more digital public management

The “Report Your Tranca” platform will allow reporting excessive delays, unjustified charges, duplicate requirements and missed deadlines in state procedures. In addition, the program is supported by the Inter-American Development Bank and is part of Supreme Decree 5595, which established the basis for the policy of deregulation of the

Bolivian state apparatus.

The program also includes agreements with organizations and companies such as Agetic, Banco Unión, Entel and Segip, with the objective of strengthening the digitization of procedures, enabling online payments and validating data in real time. Among the above-mentioned advances is the Segip Digital application, which allows you to view identity cards in digital format and reduces the need for physical documentation
