In response to the consequences generated by the recent earthquakes, Bancamiga announced the activation of a recovery fund of 5 million dollars aimed at supporting businesses and companies affected by the emergency.

The measure is part of a comprehensive assistance plan aimed at facilitating the recovery of economic activity in the impacted areas and providing financial support to clients facing difficulties arising from the contingency.

Special fund for economic recovery

According to the entity, the new fund will allow resources to be channeled to businesses and companies that need support to restore operations, cover urgent expenses, and face the effects caused by the seismic movements.

The initiative seeks to accelerate the recovery of the productive fabric and offer financial tools that contribute to maintaining business continuity in a complex context.

32 agencies enabled as collection centers

As part of the support actions, Bancamiga has enabled 32 agencies as collection centers for the reception and distribution of supplies intended for the affected communities.

The entity noted that distribution will prioritize the state of La Guaira, one of the areas hardest hit by the emergency.

This support network will allow donations and resources to be channeled more quickly and coordinated to address urgent needs of the population.

Elimination of fees in digital channels

Another of the announced measures is the temporary elimination of fees in Bancamiga's digital channels during the contingency.

The decision aims to facilitate electronic transactions for clients and reduce costs at a time when many individuals and businesses need to make payments, transfers, and other financial operations with greater flexibility.

Restructuring of loans for affected clients

Bancamiga also reported that clients impacted by the earthquakes can go to the nearest agency for guidance and to evaluate the restructuring of their existing loans.

The entity indicated that this alternative seeks to offer financial relief and adapt payment conditions to the particular situation of those who have been affected by the emergency.

An integrated support plan

With the recovery fund, collection centers, the elimination of digital fees, and loan restructuring options, Bancamiga reinforces its commitment to support businesses, companies, and families during the contingency, promoting measures aimed at the economic and social recovery of the areas affected by the earthquakes.
