Javier "Chicharito" Hernández once again captured attention on social media with an absurd reflection on Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. This time, the Mexican forward set aside the traditional football debate and preferred to indulge in a comparison between two iconic comic book characters to describe the different trajectories of both players.

Through a post on his social media, the former Mexico national team player stated that Messi and Cristiano represent completely different paths to excellence, which is why he associated them with Superman and Batman, respectively.

As Hernández explained, Lionel Messi embodies the figure of Superman due to the natural talent with which he entered professional football, a capability he considers exceptional and hard to match.

On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo symbolizes Batman because he built his career on effort, preparation, and constant discipline that led him to become one of the best players in history.

"I have always said that Messi is Superman and Cristiano Ronaldo is Batman," expressed the Mexican attacker while developing his analysis.

Furthermore, he deepened the comparison by emphasizing that Batman does not possess supernatural powers, but rather achieves his greatness through hard work, determination, and the ability to improve day by day.

"Batman had to train with discipline, bravery, and courage until he transformed into someone extraordinary," he explained.

For Chicharito, the historical discussion about who was the best footballer loses relevance compared to another aspect he finds much more interesting: the inspiration that each life story conveys.

In that sense, he argued that the real question is not about choosing between Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, but rather identifying which of the two personal journeys resonates more with each person.
