Racing is going through a moment of tension following the recent sports results and the atmosphere of discontent that became evident at the Cilindro. In this context, Diego Milito participated in the Assembly of Representatives held at the sports complex of the stadium and spoke directly with the members.
The president of the Academy acknowledged that the fans' criticisms do not go unnoticed and assured that the management is aware of the existing concerns. “I heard the anger of some fans, it does not go unnoticed. We are in a difficult moment, but I want you to know that we are listening to you,” expressed the club's top leader.
Milito defended his bond with Racing
During his presentation, the former footballer appealed to his own history within the institution to explain that he knows the different stages that Racing can go through: “I am from Racing, I grew up in this club, I have been lucky enough to win championships but I have also gone through bad moments. When things don’t go well, I understand them.”
Milito also emphasized that his responsibility as president extends to all members, regardless of the political differences that exist within the institution. “I am the president of everyone, of those who voted for me and those who did not. I want to give everything to ensure that things go as well as possible,” he stated.
