The Bonaerense Police carried out three raids in General Rodríguez as part of an investigation into aggravated threats with firearms involving Elián Valenzuela, known as L-Gante, and people from his family circle.
The operations were ordered by the Court of Guarantees No. 1 of the Judicial Department Moreno-General Rodríguez and targeted two homes located within the Terravista gated community and another private residence in the area.
The complaint that initiated the investigation
The case began following a report from a woman who rented a property located on 25 de Octubre street. According to her complaint, the conflict started when she was intercepted by a man known as “El Oso”, identified as the singer's uncle.
The complainant stated that the man allegedly threatened her and demanded that she vacate the property on the grounds that it belonged to L-Gante.
Days later, according to the accusation, Valenzuela himself allegedly arrived at the location accompanied by several people. The woman claimed that the group forcibly entered and that some of its members displayed firearms to again demand that those present leave the premises.
Cameras and vehicles under investigation
Following the complaint, agents from the Departmental Investigation Delegation (DDI) conducted fieldwork and analyzed security cameras in the area.
According to sources linked to the case, these measures allegedly allowed for reconstructing the route of the vehicles presumably used during the incident and identifying various addresses related to the individuals under investigation.
With this evidence, the Justice authorized the three search warrants. The case is under the jurisdiction of UFI No. 10, led by prosecutor María Florencia Toscano, who will need to assess the results of the operations before determining new procedural measures.
At the time the operations were made public, there had been no official report of the seizure of weapons or other items of interest for the investigation.
L-Gante's judicial history
Valenzuela has previously faced other legal cases related to threats and alleged use of weapons.
In February 2022, a neighbor from the Bicentenario neighborhood reported that the musician had threatened him with a weapon during an argument. In a subsequent raid, investigators found a replica firearm.
This episode was part of the trial held in 2024. In October of that year, Judge Ignacio Racca sentenced L-Gante to three years of suspended prison for coercive threats.
In that same process, the events for which the singer had been arrested in June 2023 and had remained almost three months deprived of his liberty were also analyzed. In that case, he had been accused of threats and unlawful deprivation of liberty, although he was ultimately acquitted of the charge of unlawful deprivation of liberty and the court did not find evidence of the use of a weapon in that incident.
