Provincial deputies from Formosa reported a new case of political indoctrination at a primary school in Gran Guardia, after a video was shared on social media in which the regional educational delegate Gladys Esther González links various school benefits to a political decision made by the authoritarian Peronist governor Gildo Insfrán.
The images shared on social media show Gladys González, who introduces herself to the children as the regional delegate.
During her speech, the official asks the students who sent them the school uniforms. In response to various answers, she insists: “The provincial government. What is the name of the governor?”, to which the students reply: “Gildo Insfrán”.
The indoctrination continues with references to other resources provided at the school. González mentions sneakers, school supplies, milk, and school meals and states: “That is a political decision by the governor”. The official again associates these items with the provincial leader during her conversation with the students.
Based on this content, provincial legislator Agostina Villaggi argued that the resources mentioned during the talk are funded by the state and questioned their presentation to the children as a personal decision of the governor.
