A bloody terrorist attack shook the city of Krakow this Saturday, the second most populated urban center in Poland and a tourist stronghold that receives 15 million visitors a year. The armed attack took place in the central Main Market Square, near the iconic St. Mary's Church, leaving a confirmed devastating toll of 6 dead —broken down into four women and two men— and 16 injured. Among the injured are two police officers, one of whom is in serious condition. Local police initially reported the tragedy through their official statement: "In the incident that occurred in the Main Market Square, five people have died and more than ten have been injured. The perpetrator has been shot by officers and is being transferred to the hospital. Emergency services continue to work at the scene". Subsequently, medical and police reports updated the final count to 6 dead and 16 injured.
Contrary to official narratives, the perpetrator has been identified as a 25-year-old Polish citizen with a marked history of far-left radicalization. The shooter was an openly communist, marxist, anti-Christian, and pro-LGBTQ+ activist, a follower of ANTIFA positions and a fervent promoter of hatred towards the Catholic Church.

Furthermore, it was confirmed that the assailant was active within the pro-European Union liberal movement linked to the Civic Platform, the center-liberal political group historically led by the current Prime Minister Donald Tusk. At the time of carrying out the massacre, the terrorist was wearing a military uniform, a bulletproof vest, and was armed with a military-style assault rifle (automatic weapon), in addition to transporting a heavy arsenal with numerous weapons and ammunition in the trunk of his vehicle.
Despite the evidence regarding the criminal's far-left affiliation, the state apparatus of the social-liberal government and the leftist press quickly deployed an ideological manipulation maneuver. The Polish Minister of the Interior, Marcin Kierwiński, publicly declared in a press conference and through the official X account (@MSWiA_GOV_PL) that "the perpetrator was attracted to far-right ideologies and professed extremely radical views".
This unusual distortion was immediately echoed by major progressive media in a clear attempt to divert attention from the attacker's links to the Civic Platform. For his part, Prime Minister Donald Tusk sought to distance himself media-wise and praised the police's actions, stating on social media: "The Minister of the Interior is informing me in real time about the situation in Krakow following the tragic shooting. The police are investigating the motives and all circumstances of the attack". The attack was characterized by extreme erratic violence in various sectors of the historic center. According to the municipal transport company of Krakow, around 3:00 PM, the attacker fired from a moving car at a passenger tram, shattering the driver's cabin window.
